Why Work With An

End-of-Life Coach?

Dying isn’t a medical event. It’s a human one! We have accompanied each other through the bookends of life — birth and death — since the beginning of time. In all cultures, specific individuals held the role of “guide” through these significant life events. They shepherded life across these thresholds, celebrated and blessed those involved, and reaffirmed the communal understanding of these life cycle experiences. That’s what I’m here to do as your end-of-life coach and conscious death doula.

In our modern western way of life, with the biases embedded in our healthcare systems, people have lost touch with the naturalness of dying and how best to support people going through it. As a result, too many people die in fear and unnecessary trauma. It’s time to remember and incorporate the traditions of our ancestors, including the inner healing and beauty that can be experienced by people surrounding the dying person.

“We are the most in-debt, obese, addicted, and medicated adult cohort in U.S. history.” — Brene Brown

We are living unconsciously, so is it any surprise we are dying unconsciously as well? What if there is another way? What if it’s possible to die consciously? Maybe you’ve been living consciously for many decades and want to make sure you die that way as well. Or maybe you’ve recently received a terminal prognosis and this event has induced a spiritual awakening for the first time for you. Either way, I’m here to help you die consciously.

What do I mean by “conscious?” To me, to live or die consciously means having an awareness that the reality we can perceive with our 5 senses only accounts for about 1% of actual reality. There’s so much more waiting for us just beyond the veil!
